Same here too. Softmodding helps avoid wearing out your DVD drive on the Wii, which is something that often happens. Sorry Nintendo—I really like your games, but you can't just expect people to upgrade their console because the drive isn’t lasting. To be honest, I still have a Slim PS2 with a functional motor (the laser is burnt out again).
