I have an MSI B450 gaming setup with a Ryzen 7 3800X and an RTX 2070 OC edition. My current specs are 16GB RAM at 3000MHZ, and I’m thinking about upgrading to something like a cooler, a better case, and possibly 32GB of 3600MHz RAM. I’m still figuring out the right motherboard, which is why I’m writing this. Could you suggest some options? If needed, feel free to ask questions. My budget is around $300 less than what I have now, so it would be great if you could help me find a good balance.

Your board is more than enough on its own. 32 GB of RAM is fine, and the motherboard isn’t a concern. Upgrading the cooler would be a smart move too.

I've been facing some problems lately, but it's not something I can manage. Sadly...

I see. Search for B550 Micro-ATX boards from MSI, ASUS or Gigabyte near 100 units in the US currently. Canada might have slightly fewer options.

it is an issue with my internet it always cuts out and its cause of the motherboard, I've talked to some people about it and they have all said to update it and stuff but I have already made sure it is up to date and ive tested on my old pc at the same time it goes out and doesn't on there either. Also tested with other ethernet cables.

When swapping a look into on a B550 board, it should work well with Ryzen 5000 series units right out of the box during upgrades. It's unclear whether the same chipset will be used or if AMD plans to switch to different components later.

Can you obtain an additional NIC? My sabertooth x58 suffered from a faulty network port and I resolved it for seven years until I received an upgrade card. It's surprising how much time was spent fixing it when a simple $20 purchase could have solved the issue.

Sure, I missed those expansion cards. The main issue could be finding the right drivers. I once used a USB for Wi-Fi and downloaded the necessary files using my phone to install them.
