I'm searching for some decent games that work well on my system (gtx 1080). That's all I need.

Shadow and Rise of the tomb raider will manage the hardware for its earnings
Witcher 3 remains sluggish when running at high settings (at least 1440p)
Any other major AAA title next?

The tomb raider theme is appealing. I've checked some gameplay and found it to be a bit of a mess. Do you have any other recommendations?

Assassin's Creed Odyssey or Origins are affordable options right now.
Batman Arkham Knight has CD keys available for free.
Forza Horizon 4 supports high performance with Extreme settings at 4k30fps or 1080p60fps.
The Tomb Raider series remains a great choice.

Got a few extra dollars on Steam and ended up buying this one just because it was $3. Thanks for sharing the details.

None of the alternatives really caught my interest. I own Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox and didn't really enjoy it. I've been considering Tomb Raider lately.

You should definitely consider a strategy game as well. Total War: Warhammer 2 offers "the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," or if you prefer the appealing visuals of Heroes of Might and Magic 7, it delivers that too. For authentic warfare, Slitherine's Warhammer Gladius is a great choice—it’s quite impressive and worth trying if you don’t have any strategy or 4x titles. Although it lacks diplomacy, its eXpand, eXplore, and eXterminate features still make it a solid 4x experience.

In the more casual category, games like Railroad Empire are available, along with others such as 2 Point Hospital.

Just remember, I’m mentioning only a few examples here—there’s a much larger selection.
