I am looking to obtain Macro Soft compatible with Windows 11. The application should work within the W11 File Explorer and focus on tasks in the (Name and Title) categories. It needs to allow sequential and repeated editing of file categories in a folder. While searching online for Macro apps, I haven’t found clear options that match this requirement. Their descriptions seem vague. I’m counting on forum members to recommend suitable software for this purpose. Thank you for your assistance.

Why not leverage PowerShell for this? It's already available on your system.

This:
"software that can be used to sequentially and repetitively edit the categories of a group of files in a folder"
My suggestion is to include examples of your work and clarify the main goal.

ReadMe.txt belongs to the "documentation" category, and MyResumee.txt is categorized as "resume".

It's not obvious what the OP aims to achieve here. For images, there are existing tools that can label and categorize files. This is typically handled by a database managed by the application. XnView is one such example. Also, I question whether OP is genuinely seeking "macro software" in general. If so, I would recommend Autohotkey, which I have used for different tasks.
