Hi there! I'm trying to assemble an environmentally conscious yet powerful gaming PC and came across the Intel 13700T. It seems promising based on specs and benchmarks, but it's hard to locate any listings. I'm also struggling to find T-series CPUs at all, even older models. Anyone have insights on why this might be or if there are resellers with stock? Thanks!

T-series processors are usually available only through original equipment manufacturers or in large quantities. An option could be purchasing a standard 13700 and adjusting its power settings within the BIOS, provided that feature exists.

The T series is unnecessary. You can use any Intel CPU and adjust the power settings as desired. This lets you build your own T series without needing additional costs.

You can reduce the power settings on the non-K 13700. It seems the options are limited, but lowering them might be worth it since the 13700K is pricier. If you're okay with that, it would make sense given the cost difference.

You can configure a maximum clock speed and both AMD and Intel perform well when you slightly reduce the speeds. Intel tends to be quicker in this area, while GPUs also benefit from lower clocks. Essentially, start with a standard gaming setup and then lower the settings a bit for better performance.

The turbo power limits can be unlocked and adjusted for both K and non-K CPUs. Non-K models have a fixed maximum multiplier, while the power limits are usually left unlocked by the BIOS. Most motherboards from the 4th or 5th generation offer this option. To be absolutely sure, try testing your specific motherboard with a 13700 installed. If you're open to it, I can walk you through the process.

To make the i7-13700 act like the i7-13700 T, adjust its BIOS for similar performance and features.
