You're looking for an analysis of RSI AURORA MR using the Arena Commander pass, and you'd prefer guidance before deciding. Let me know if you'd like some assistance!

The Aurora serves as a great entry point into the game. It also unlocks the Arena Commander feature. While I'm unsure about your specific goals in the complete game, there are many choices available that suit different playstyles.

In short, the Aurora is a solid starting point for newcomers. Sure, there are stronger options for battles, not the top cargo carrier, and it’s not the quickest, but it’s reliable and can be upgraded for better performance. I often find myself wanting to purchase one myself. To make better choices, we should consider your budget, preferred playstyle, and what you enjoy—trading, cargo hauling, salvage, dogfighting, or even racing for the Murray Cup. There are many ships designed for different purposes.

The aurora offers a solid foundation, though if you're looking for something new, let me know your preference. The aurora is straightforward yet adaptable, unlike the Mustang which is the upcoming "entry point." As B45op mentioned, please share more details too. Have you ever tried space aiming or any similar game?

The MR is a solid vessel but not the most competitive online ATM. For better performance now, consider the 300i or Hornet, which are great options to boost your progress. Keep in mind that specifications can shift quickly, especially for VANDUUL SWARM COOP—MR shines thanks to its compact size and powerful armament. If you're just starting out, the MR works well and you can still earn points on other ships. This is what I've experienced.

With the Aurora MR in hand, you can explore all five ships currently available until the 17th. If you discover something you like, you can dismantle your Aurora and obtain it. Later on, if you prefer another model, you can always melt and upgrade your current ship—or even acquire a new one.

Ridiculously went for the Aurora MR and might still consider others since Grrizz mentioned excitement about the upcoming game, though he thinks the wallets might suffer—lol

Aurora isn't the best fit for me, even though it's a solid beginning. The 300 series stands out to me more. Sure, it costs a bit extra, but this game is going to drain your budget eventually—like getting a permanent mark. It starts simple, then gets tough.

It's not as pretty as the others and the Aurora has pretty much sucked from day one, they had decent weapons but not enough power, you had to basicly burst fire which I enjoyed as it ment saying on a vanduuls tail, whilst trying not to hit yourself, a bit of a thrill and make your shot count. Then they "fixed" the power issue by making the weapons slow but heavy hitting which was fine but the ship lost character but now there is no targeting system like the old one and no gimbal its an awful ship which isn't great for it to be the base ship but I don't think the 300i is much better. I'll see how good it is after the update, otherwise I'll be getting a mustang
