Looking for guidance on CPU and GPU RPM?
Hey everyone, I ordered a prebuilt PC last year and now I'm surprised by how loud it gets. After checking, I found my CPU and GPU spin at really high speeds—around 1900 RPM when idle, while my CPU runs between 1700-1800 and the GPU hits 2000-2250. If I play a small game, the GPU reaches up to 2000 RPM and the CPU can go close to 4000. It's starting to be bothersome over time. The CPU isn't quiet at all, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if something’s wrong. Is a GPU spinning at 1900 RPM still okay? What should I do about it? Thanks for your advice.
Yes, it does. The question is asking whether something has a significant effect or influence.
Your GPU runs steadily at 1800 RPM while your CPU stays around 1750 RPM, which sounds fine. If you notice any unusual noise or vibration, it might be worth checking the CPU cooler or power supply. Upgrading to quieter components could help reduce the sound. The power supply could also affect performance and stability if it's underperforming.
