Hey, So Ive been looking for a game to spend my last bit of steam money on, And I reammber looking at the Sinper Elite games A WHILE ago, When V3 first came out, So I just finihsed playing Sniper Elite V2 Demo, And it was a ton of fun, The only downfall are the Sub par graphics, Also I wasnt a fan of the weird mouse Lag, They even have a option to reduce it.. but it was still noticeable. Was wondering if anyone has played V3 I was thinking of buying it, Hows the story? I was also told V4 sucked, So i was avoding it. Would take suggestions.

I prefer the number four because they dropped the 'V' from the name (they said three was enough). I still don’t understand how the wind speed gauge works and I struggled to aim accurately at distances over 100 meters when there’s wind and help isn’t available. The visuals aren’t as sharp as in modern titles, but they’ve moved past the days when colors looked faded. There’s a kill-cam feature and you can target enemies by shooting them if you wish (and the feminist groups are complaining about missing female characters). SE 4 lets you eliminate targets by setting traps—like poisoning supplies or damaging gear—not just using bombs. It feels similar to Hitman titles, though Agent 47 seems much more skilled overall (maybe he lost his hair while training). The story is okay; the characters provide briefings and tips before missions begin. I’m not very good at reading or writing, so don’t rely solely on my opinion. If you need more detail, look through the mission logs for notes. The third option seems to focus on shooting people directly, trying to escape and return, with little else to do. I don’t really care much beyond enjoying 4K at 120fps.

Thanks for the response. SE 4 is also twice the cost of SE 3. I don’t mind the gameplay style. The demo of V2 was really enjoyable!

I tried SE3 and 4 for a while, but they quickly lost my interest. The way it seems like pro-American propaganda wrapped in a game didn’t win me over either. But if you enjoy setting up traps and waiting to strike when the moment is right, this might be your thing. If you can’t splurge on 4, the 3 version could be a better fit.

Both V3 and 4 stand out to me. I've completed V3 and really liked the narrative. Sniper Elite 4 offers a more engaging experience, though I haven't finished the story yet, so I can't share my thoughts on it. The multiplayer modes in both titles feel outdated, which means investing in the game for its story and gameplay is the best choice.
