Looking for a fresh adventure? Open-world action with combat and swordplay sounds perfect. Avoiding Batman Assassins Creed and Mad Max vibes, here are some alternatives: explore titles like "The Witcher 3," "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," or "Genshin Impact" for variety. Let me know if you'd like more ideas!

Not really, it's a mix of genres with intense action and exploration.

I used Primal Felt pretty Linear. Far cry didn’t really connect with it, but I still liked them all! Just don’t pair them well together.

I believe number three was the best game ever... haven't tried four yet and likely won't play primal. Really looking forward to the new one in Montana!

Have you tried the Just Cause series? the 2 and 3 were awesome Otherwise I heard of a good game recently, called Skyrim. looked pretty awesome to me and seemed a little like Witcher

Can't just play for free; the controls don't work for me, especially with the Xbox controller and Skyrim. It's one of the worst releases ever. Kickstarter class developer right there!

Alright, that covers my thoughts on action titles, but here are some other picks. Of course it varies: Factorio offers a solid experience with mod support and easy expansion; Minecraft has plenty of modpacks to enhance the gameplay; Adventure games like Skyfactory provide engaging content; Borderlands blends shooter mechanics with RPG elements across multiple entries; Undertale delivers a charming, retro-style experience; Ghost Recon Wildlands and Battlefield 1 are solid choices for tactical play; Watch Dogs 2 is worth trying despite its first impression; and if you enjoy city-building, Cities Skyline is an excellent option. Hope this helps!
