Looking for classic titles that still work today? Many older games remain solid choices for retro gaming, offering solid gameplay regardless of modern graphics standards.

I really enjoyed crash team racing recently, though the emulator feels quite outdated now—emulating it might even become a bigger issue. For those who like Pokémon, the older versions were actually more enjoyable (seriously, I struggle with DPPT and even newer games). If you're up for a challenge, the Pokemon Emerald 386 ROM hack is impressive (though finding the ROM itself is tough). I won’t talk about my methods since we’re nearing forum rules about piracy.

Mario Kart: Double Dash stands out among games I enjoy. It's fairly straightforward to play, offering some challenge when you're willing to adjust your approach.

I’ve saved every version of those classic consoles. Unfortunately, I can’t explain exactly how or where I obtained them. This feels like piracy—I just wanted to enjoy Sonic the Hedgehog and other titles. It’s way better than Super Mario Bros.

I've enjoyed playing with Project64 on my Xbox One using a controller. The visuals feel really old-school, yet the controls and camera work nicely even now.
