Searching for some engaging titles to try this week. Here’s what you’ve got so far: Witcher 3 Shadow of Mordor, entire total war series (excluding Attila), CSGO, Hitman Absolution, Syndicate, AC, Unity Dynasty Warriors 8, Extreme Legends, Left for Dead 1 & 2, Warhammer, Vermintide, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Batman Arkham Origins. You mentioned not wanting Fallout or GTA, and your setup includes an I5 6600k, GTX 970, and 8GB RAM. Any other recommendations you’d suggest?

Avoid LFD 1, otherwise go for 2. Most of them are decent, but you’ll likely be let down with the AC.

Go with Rocket League or Just Cause 3, they work well with your NVIDIA graphics card.

You might enjoy MMOs such as League of Legends (if you're feeling nervous from Steel), soon there will be Blade and Soul with a less impressive visual and combat setup, Path of Exile, Black Desert (just for trying, I suggest it), and if you can afford a monthly fee and love exploring lore, those could be great options. Other titles exist, but for now I recommend these because I've played them myself and found them engaging.

I already purchased both items. I really enjoy AC. Unless my PC fails and it crashes, I’m just thrilled I was browsing Garrys mod but I’m not sure how to use it. It claims it’s a game where you can do anything you want. I don’t have many PC friends who can help me with the maze trap mechanics from Vanossgamings. I was thinking about Dawn of War Soulstorm, but do I need to play other games to access the different factions?

Opt for looking up well-reviewed games for the most effective results. This seems to be the optimal approach.

Portal 1 and 2, Black Mesa (free), Half Life 2 with expansions, and Just Cause 2 or Saints Row 4 offer great entertainment. Dishonored and Bioshock Infinite might also be worth checking out.
