Hello, I believe I purchased the "i9-7900X QS" from an eBay seller in China. Both BIOS and Windows indicate it as an Intel i7-7900X, which seems to be a genuine Intel CPU according to the diagnostic tool. However, BIOS-Z and HWiNFO64 display it as an i9-7900X. This suggests there might be a discrepancy in the model number or a planned rebranding. There are no clear details available about this SKU.

I believe we received a release candidate CPU, which was later renamed.

The i9 7900X likely underwent a name change at some stage. Prior to this, the top X-series processors were all labeled i7, such as the i7 6950X.
