I’m sure upgrading the case is necessary. The models I’ve checked can fit four HDDs, a 2.5 SSD, and a powerful 40-series GPU. The Phanteks Enthoos Pro 2 Closed Panel looks appealing to me.
However, I need to upgrade my Mobo to support DDR5. I currently have an i7-12700k, 64GB DDR4 at 3600MHz, and a MSI Mobo with sufficient USB ports for the five used on the back of my PC. I require a Mobo that offers DDR5 support, at least five USB 2.0/3.0 ports, and enough M.2 slots for additional SSDs, as I plan to add a couple of 4TB drives on top of my existing 2TB SSD.

It doesn't take much to gather everything needed. USB ports shouldn't be a major concern. Find a suitable hub for all your external connections beyond the essential peripherals.
This board offers three M.2 slots, and you might find more options available. Most boards stop around five slots, but they often lack additional ones.

Removing 64GB of DDR4 memory could be a waste, but you can upgrade to larger capacities if needed.
A CPU suggestion isn't clear, but the 12700k is a solid choice; you could upgrade to higher models like 13700k or 14700k, or even an i9. The main changes would be clock speed and more E-cores.
An alternative option would be a 7950X from AMD.
