It was part of the plan to purchase a quiet dark rock pro 5 since the 4 model is no longer available, plus a fresh PC case with three large fans at the front. Thanks for your assistance!
I believe a fresh case isn't essential unless your existing one lacks adequate cooling. I only use four 140mm fans and my system handles more than 700W, so a decent mid-tower should suffice. The DR Pro 5 seems suitable, but remember with air coolers you must avoid placing them inside the PCIe lane. Most mid-to-high range ATX boards allocate the second PCIe slot after the first to accommodate 140mm units like the NH-D15.
It seems like you're dealing with a situation where the current case isn't quite right for the coller. The fitment issue is likely due to that, and RGB doesn't seem to be the problem either. I'll check the overlap for the PCI and hope it works out.
