I’m hoping someone can assist me where Reddit didn’t help much. I’m experiencing low performance in CS2 and was upset, so I upgraded my PC myself. I assembled the system from the ground up and don’t consider myself an expert, but I’m capable of handling basic tech and networking tasks. Here’s what I have:

To verify the system performance, observe the CPU usage of each core. You should also track RAM and GPU activity while ensuring the components don’t overheat.

The individuals in the videos you're watching use frame generation at lower or standard settings.

Lowering the settings is fine. Concerning frame generation, it's an interesting point but I can't confirm anything. A few are displaying over 400 FPS with a response time of just 1.9ms, which suggests they likely aren't using frame generation. However, I'm not entirely sure.

You can test cs2 with frame generation enabled and observe the response times. Also check if the frames approach 500 pixels.

I enabled Nvidia Reflex and the results are much closer to the videos I saw. It’s surprising since most tutorials recommend turning it off. My response times are lower or similar, and my FPS stays higher when it’s on, giving a very smooth experience. I’m puzzled about why so many people advise shutting it down. EDIT: It only worked for a few hours before performance dropped back to normal.

It seems you're wondering if you removed the outdated GPU drivers.
