Hi, I'm just starting out with overclocking but understand the fundamentals. I want to push my FX6300 up to around 3.8ghz. I have a Gigabyte 78LMT USB 3.0 and need to know which cooler will work and fit into the Cit Vanquish red case. Thanks in advance!
When limited to a 3.8 ghz speed, you won't need an aftermarket cooler; monitor your temperatures during overclocking using tools like CPU-Z or similar programs.
For higher speeds (4.2 or above), a 212 Evo or another 120mm aluminum block with fan should perform adequately.
