I’ve been going through some discussions but haven’t found clear answers. From those who use these parts, they’re aiming for a solid 4.7GHz overclock on the I7 7700k, with the 4266MHz from RAM or very close to it. Any guidance would be really helpful.

Hi Alexandrious1,
We can't provide you with fixed numbers for your system...
Each build, chip, memory, etc., is unique, so the voltages and frequencies achievable also vary.
You need to adjust the voltage and frequency until you reach your desired settings.
There are many guides available.
Tip: keep it below 1.38V and 85°C during stress tests for regular use.

I understand that, but there are individuals with this precise build, and I'm certain someone has achieved a similar result to what you're aiming for.

So if you're after some "magic," try setting 47 on multiplier and 1.35V of Vcore with fixed voltage, aiming to pass multiple realbench tests. If it works through some loops, reduce the voltage (-0.025/-0.05) until stability is lost. Regarding the RAM, I can't give you specifics—I don't know your setup, the rated frequency, or timing details... Rodolphe

It's the Trident Z 4266MHZ 16GB Kit.
https://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/P...lsrc=aw.ds

If the CPU hits 4.7GHZ, it’s fine for me; even 4.6GHZ works well. I’ve seen people push it to 5.1GHZ mostly. However, I’m completely comfortable with 4.6 or 4.7. What matters most is getting the Trident Z RAM as close to 4266 as possible. The board seems built for this specific kit, so I’ll also upgrade the memory cooler. I’ll need to update the BIOS on the board since there’s an update that improves its performance. I’ll have to figure this out—I haven’t updated any Asus boards before like this. It looks like I’ll download the BIOS, use the renaming tool from the Asus site, put it on a USB drive, shut down the PC but keep it powered on, connect the USB to a specific port in the back, and hold a button for 3 seconds to apply the update. This process will also be something I need to manage carefully.
