Hello, I've been facing some gaming problems lately, mainly with micro stuttering. Certain titles perform worse than others—Halo and Valorant have occasional light stutters, while Ready or Not freezes for about five seconds before resuming. I've already tried many solutions to fix this. I think my setup is solid on the basics: basic troubleshooting, reinstalling Windows, switching CPUs, adding RAM, using different storage, updating BIOS, and testing various GPUs. If any advice could help, it would mean a lot to me since I've already explored everything possible. My system specs are: Core i7 9700F, RTX 2060, ASUS Dual 6GB Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2) at 2666MHZ, Western Digital Blue 2TB HDD, Western Digital Green 1TB SSD, Samsung 980 PRO Adata 250GB SATA, CoolerMaster MasterWatt 750W, and a Hyper 212 Black Edition RGB.

Use Samsung Magician to verify your Samsung 980 Pro isn’t running faulty firmware that could cause failure.

Check for issues that are hindering your system. Observe its behavior around the time of the problem. If you have a second monitor, open Task Manager and sort by high CPU usage to identify running applications. The block could also stop Task Manager from refreshing.

You just installed the latest firmware and checked online for any issues with your SSD. No major problems were reported about your firmware version.

I checked Ready or Not on all low settings, but it looks like your CPU stays at 100% consistently. This could be causing the frame rate to drop and stuttering. Try adjusting your system settings, updating drivers, or checking for background processes that might be consuming resources.

The limitation on CPU usage might be the cause, though I was worried about it taking several seconds. A typical micro-delay is just a few milliseconds. Were any other processes consuming CPU during that time?

The main platform was Discord, though usage was around nine percent. There was a noticeable delay—about five seconds—when I entered the game due to my stutter.

DirectX 12 titles such as Battlefield 5 often experience noticeable stuttering. Ready or Not includes a DirectX 12 implementation, so I’ll attempt to run it and compare the performance.

The loading time seems unusually high, possibly due to heavy activity at that moment. Persistent delays during regular gameplay after startup could indicate an issue. Check if the games use an SSD or HD storage.
