The pleasure of managing a platform with an app store comes from knowing large groups invest over years. Here are some picks from the Mac Games list: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, The Walking Dead Civilization V, Europa Universalis IV, Portal 2 (with mod), and Starbound. The Witcher series is also recommended.

I found some parallels, but with only 8GB it won’t be ideal.

Counter Strike seems to be malfunctioning around 15 Mb, and playing it on an iPod felt really strange. It was a bit unsettling.

They often have titles like TF2 and CSGO that work on Mac. Have you checked for third-person games on your PC? It’s been a bit of a thought but I haven’t bothered searching yet.

You think a photobooth isn't enough? Try this safari game instead!

I can't use boot camp and I've already tried it on my MacBook. Windows 8 is really bad.

Nope, if you've played Shadow Gun Deadzone, it's really enjoyable. You can find it on Facebook or download it. There are various maps, and it's in third person where you need to eliminate the opposing team. Capturing flags feels like rushing to collect them but then waiting so the other team can enter and reclaim the area. Death matches are one-on-one battles similar to other games. I also found one on Facebook.
