I'm planning my new home setup and have a clear goal: move the computer to a separate room. It should be on the opposite side of the building, not just across a wall. I want a tidy desk with only essentials—keyboard, mouse, monitor, microphone, and speakers. I need guidance on the necessary hardware and cables to handle DisplayPort, USB for the keyboard and mouse, plus audio for the mic and soundbar/speakers at about 40 feet. I have a screenshot of the internet connection area and where the computer should be placed. Could you provide a list of the required equipment? Thanks!

Consider a 50m optical TB3 cable, likely from Corning. https://www.amazon.com/Corning-Meter-Thu...B08CK9KYNG

50 meters is a short distance, which helps focus my options for USB cables. Appreciate the clarification!

One cable keeps things tidy. Thanks to Thunderbolt compatibility, you can stream video and connect your USB ports at the desk using a Thunderbolt docking station. https://www.corning.com/microsites/coc/o...A4-AEN.pdf The AOC-CCU6JPN005M20 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C Optical Cable, various lengths, offers fast speeds over extended distances. It’s slim, lightweight, and impressively durable, fitting well with high-speed data needs and sharp display outputs. ◼ Supports up to 40 Gbps
◼ Connectors are easy to flip and reverse
◼ Link several Thunderbolt devices together
◼ All-ceramic cable adds better electrical separation
◼ Strong build with better resistance to wear
◼ New thermal protection – guards internal parts from heat damage
◼ Ideal for a single 5K screen or two 4K screens
◼ No extra driver software needed

Ensure thunderbolt is installed on the system and a thunderbolt dock is available for the desk. Note that thunderbolt on desktop does not transmit video by default, so you'll need a dock with a display.
