Hello! I’m looking for someone to assist with my PC issues. The setup worked well at 1080p with low to medium frame rates. Recently, while playing Hunt Showdown, I encountered a BSOD without any error message. After restarting, the system froze during the Windows search and then wouldn’t boot at all. I removed the RAM and GPU to investigate, but it only worked after adjusting the RAM sticks—two were faulty and possibly damaged. Everything functioned normally with 8 GB RAM until yesterday, when stutters appeared during Hunt Showdown and audio issues arose randomly. Benchmarks showed no GPU problems, and MemTest64 reported clean results. I’m concerned about memory stability and wonder if my CPU is outdated. My plans include upgrading to an i5 11600K, a new motherboard, and G.Skill 2x16 GB RAM. The game runs on a Samsung 870 SSD. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
The frame issue and stuttering ceased once "Block vulnerable kernel drivers" was turned off in Avast Antivirus.
