Hey there, I’m looking for some advice since I haven’t found a solution on Reddit or Razer’s forums. I own a mid-2021 Razer Blade Advanced that had its screen cracked about a month ago. It still had functionality—about 90% usable—and the cracked area wouldn’t stop it from booting. I removed the panel to get the model number and discovered it matched "N156KME-GNA" (shown with two pieces of gaff tape). I found a similar model on eBay, which looks very close in size and has the same 40-pin connector. I bought the replacement panel from that eBay listing and it seems to fit well physically. The new screen came with two stickers: one with the model number I found and another with "NE156QHM-NY2 V8.0". After installing it, the laptop powers on but doesn’t show anything. When I try to connect an HDMI monitor, it works fine, but if I boot without the panel, nothing appears. I’m unsure if there’s a BIOS setting or a specific command needed to fully reinstall the panel. I’m not very experienced with laptop repairs, so I’m worried about compatibility and whether this panel will actually work properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I must admit it's disappointing, but it seems you might have received another faulty panel. If you purchased it via eBay, you should be able to file a complaint and request a refund. Contact the seller first to explore possible solutions.
