Hello everyone! This is my first time on the forum, and I joined because Linus suggested checking his help section. Recently, a friend assisted me in setting up my current rig, but I’m still concerned it doesn’t perform well graphically. It really came to light when I started playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC for the first time and my computer crashed after just a few minutes of building a car. I haven’t run into problems with other games, but I think they’re not receiving enough frames. Here’s a quick overview of my setup:

Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3800X
GPU: Asus ROG RTX 2080 Ti 11GB OC
RAM: Viper 16GB DDR4 1600 MHz x2 (32GB total) – this might be the key
PSU: Corsair 1200HXi
I’m open to more advice if you think there’s something limiting performance and causing sluggishness. The RGB isn’t helping either, even though it should.

He mentioned 1600 X2 which equals 3200Mhz. DDR4 at 1600Mhz doesn't exist. Please download and execute one of the available benchmarks, such as 3DMark or Superposition/Valley. After completion, share a screenshot of the outcomes. This process will put stress on the system and provide a performance measurement.

Have you refreshed your motherboard's BIOS to the newest release? What are your CPU/GPU temperatures during gaming sessions? Have you performed any overclocking that might risk instability and system crashes? It seems unlikely the power supply unit is the issue, especially if it was new when you bought it, though it's hard to say for sure. If you have another PSU available, you might test your system with it to check if problems persist.

I'm currently testing a benchmark and also noted that it's being done on a ROG Strix XG35VQ ultrawide 1440p display.
