I recall a time not long ago when I lacked compressed air, so I cleaned my fans and some dusty areas inside my laptop using a microfiber cloth. (Don't worry, I now have compressed air.)
I had previously used a microfiber cloth to inspect this part here: https://prnt.sc/1tlanrl
My laptop is still functioning properly, but I was uncertain about the small metal components and wondered if brushing them might have caused any harm.
Could anyone identify what that component is and explain the purpose of those metal pieces? If I lightly wiped it with a microfiber cloth, would that likely have prevented any damage?

Chipset appears to be the main focus. The CPU and GPU may seem alike, but they typically come with heatsinks attached.

I understand the component next to it is for input/output. It's not the CPU or GPU, as they have heatsinks. Could you clarify the metal components and the specific chip model?

For the laptop model AN515-53-52FA, the chipset is Intel HM370. The datasheet reference is NH.Q3ZAA.001. Tiny metal components are referred to as SMD, which are likely small capacitors or resistors.

If everything is functioning properly, it means no damage occurred. However, if the issue is resolved but a minor crack forms that could lead to system failure later, it's impossible to confirm, so it's reasonable to believe it didn't happen.
