Hi Team, I just got a new component to upgrade my gaming rig and need some guidance. I have a Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO WIFI motherboard (rev 1.2) and a BIOS page here. I also brought an AMD 5800x CPU, which the seller mentioned would require a BIOS update for this chipset. It seems pretty simple overall, but I’m curious about the safest BIOS version to install for my 5800x F30, F32, or F33i models. Can you check if F33i is a newer release? Thanks in advance!

I transitioned from F1 BIOS to F50 on my B450M S2H, but stability remains limited beyond typical virtualization issues I experienced, mainly due to the Windows 20H2 update. Updating your BIOS for older CPUs is necessary to enable proper booting on the board, since it lacks a BIOS Flash button. You might want to contact the retailer to check if they can update your BIOS, or consider these options: 1. Ask AMD for a boot kit via their support page https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-105, or 2. Borrow a compatible Ryzen CPU from someone else (avoid first-gen models as the 500 series chipset no longer supports them).

Ensure only the 24-pin connector and USB drive are present on the board. Exclude any CPU or RAM components. Q Flash Plus does not require these parts.

It lacks a BIOS flashback feature, isn't it? Keep holding the phone.

Using Q-Flash Plus eliminates the need for a CPU on the motherboard. The F30 BIOS is sufficient to run the 5800X with your board.

Various updates to the board are available. It's simpler to update the manual than to replace all your stock images. Note: The rear IO doesn<|pad|> to not have a button. Updated April 30, 2021 by IkeaGnome Additional details provided.
