The Threadripper 7950 is just out now—you could invest around $5000 in it.

They perform tasks, with well-known brands such as Huananzhi and machinist. These boards are widely liked in Russia, supported by an active community that reviews them. Used Ryzen chips are extremely affordable, allowing you to create a comparable high-performance PC with newer components for a modest extra cost.

I listed three budget CPU choices for Xeon. It's frustrating when others don't listen to what I shared. Prices range from $110 to $155, with passmark scores between 45.5k and 120k. These Xeon chips outperform the whole 12th generation core line, except the i9-12900k which is close but still falls short. None exceed 64 cores, so they won't be restricted by ableton and can fully utilize raw power during rendering tasks. Many are sticking with i3s, but they don't match the performance of i9s despite slower clocks—it's about total power and enough threads to avoid overload. Nobody mentions LGA4189 or ALI mobos, but today's market doesn't offer a better way to hit such benchmarks under $800.

I’m looking for recommendations on affordable Ryzen chips with over 40k passmark ratings. I’m not interested in high-end options; even mid-range ones seem to fall short compared to what I need. The performance metrics I care about are more about raw power than speed or core count, so I want something that delivers solid performance without breaking the bank.

It seems like a misunderstanding occurred. You were suggesting someone spend a lot on a CPU for a project that only needs $800, but it was pointed out the budget was too low. It’s confusing how a threadripper could be cheaper than a 120-core CPU at $120, especially with a $5000 budget. I’m not sure what you meant by “missing the whole point,” but it looks like the focus shifted. Let me know if you’d like to clarify.
