I'm looking for a PC that can handle modern games smoothly at 60fps or higher with decent settings, while still running competitive titles at lower settings but maintaining a steady frame rate above 240. I believe this might be quite demanding, but I'd go for anything above 120. I think upgrading the CPU, GPU, and motherboard would be necessary to improve performance. Here is my current setup: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hHs9KX

I’ve been thinking about this too, though my setup is different. I have a Ryzen 5 5500, which isn’t as outdated as yours, and I’m considering upgrading to something like an i5 13400, b660, or b760. I’m also looking into using my existing RAM. If I want to keep things around 300, I’ll probably stick with my 5600x graphics card, which performs similarly to your 2060. If you’re willing to trade in or sell your current hardware and GPU, you might get some extra cash for something like an RTX 4070 or a 7800X3D.
