I have the new Xbox wireless adapter for use with a controller on my PC. It functions when plugged directly into the computer, but when connected to the main TV, I need a USB 2.0 repeater extender. The cable works fine overall—Logitech keyboard and Xbox controller via USB are connected properly. However, the adapter only plays the Windows disconnect sound every few seconds. Any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?

Extended USB lengths may lead to problems. Reach out to the seller of the device you purchased for assistance or consider switching to a different brand/model.

The adapter functions well with various devices such as keyboards and mice. It requires standard power levels.
