You have a 300 Mbps fiber connection at home. Decide between Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 adapters based on your needs. These devices can impact latency and bandwidth, so consider your gaming and streaming demands.

You can purchase an AX200 or AX210 PCIe card at a reasonable cost, offering either WiFi 6 or 6E, whichever is more affordable. 2. From a technical standpoint, USB may exhibit higher latency, though it’s rarely a big issue. PCIe Adapters remain the standard solution. 3. It varies; if your router supports WiFi 5, upgrading to WiFi 6 won’t provide significant gains. You might see slight improvements in speed and reduced lag with WiFi 6, but for 300mbps you probably won’t notice much. Just keep in mind the price difference is minimal, so choose the option that suits you best.

When a direct link isn't available, PCIe Wi-Fi cards tend to be the most dependable option.
