Hi, your current setup with the Asus P8B75-M is performing well so far. You’ve upgraded from an i3 to an i7 and are now hitting a RAM ceiling of 16GB. You’re looking for an older model that supports DDR3 and can accommodate at least 32GB or more, preferably UEFI-compatible. I can help you find suitable options if you’d like.

Up to the latest generations, storage was limited to around 32GB. That means you’re restricted to that size. You can still get a Z-series motherboard like the Z77-GD65. Look for a used seller online—depending on your location. Try searching "z77" on eBay and check local offers.

2 slots or 4 slots means the LX is designed for 2 slots and is restricted to 16GB, while the regular M model supports 4 slots and offers more flexibility. You can simply add a few drives to reach 32GB of RAM.

I noticed several variations of this motherboard, but I’m not sure which one is mine. I’ll need to verify it and see if upgrading to version 32 works. Appreciate your help!

Thanks! I wasn't aware the restriction came from the processor model.
