Hello! I purchased a 9900K but don’t have much cash for a motherboard. I found some good options and am open to overclocking them. I’m looking at these models: Z390-AORUS-PRO, ROG-STRIX-Z390-F-GAMING, ROG-STRIX-Z390-H-GAMING, Z390-AORUS-ELITE, and Z390-AORUS-PRO-WIFI. What’s the difference between 8-pin and 8+4-pin CPU power? Does it affect me?

The Aorus Pro without WiFi needs no connection. If you require it, the extra 4-pin connector is useful but rarely needed—it mainly helps with stability during intense overclocking.

1. Acceptable.
2. Terrible.
3. Extremely bad.
4. Decent, though Aorus Pro surpasses it.
5. Fairly okay.

It's not true. Those Gigabyte Aorus boards offer superior VRM compared to Asus for the same budget.
