I recently acquired a PC from a family member; it was an old Dell with a mainboard that seemed incomplete. I’m looking to replace it with a standard mainboard, but finding one that fits my needs and budget is challenging. My budget is around 150€, I’m based in Germany, and I need a LGA 1151 socket. Any suggestions?

What do you require? The current board is missing 150 points, barely 50€ short of getting a better Ryzen 4500 and AM4 setup. If the aim is building a gaming PC, the Ryzen offers a much stronger choice since the 8600 has been fully utilized for years with just six threads.

Consider selling it as the tower model Optiplex 7060. It retains solid resale potential for buyers in the US or the UK via eBay.

It's unusual the power remains on unless you flip the PSU, and it only requires two data IDs, needing at least four.

If you prefer not to sell, it’s good to keep extra items in mind. A change in your PC tower could affect its appearance, making it look outdated.
