This device looks quite capable, but I'm not sure why I'd want to use it. I've dealt with a comparable issue on the PS Vita before, so I decided to part with it since I didn't really need it.
You can use dgVoodoo to adapt RapeLay for newer Windows versions. Regarding its performance in Wine, Steam Play, or Proton, I don’t have clear information about those platforms. It seems making it work in Wine hasn’t been successful yet, which isn’t ideal. It might be necessary to run the game on Windows itself.
Another title I tried was Battle Raper around the same time. Such games were more common on computers back then, especially in North America and Europe. I only learned about them because some groups were making a Tempest in a Teapot about their availability. Now, focusing on the Steam Deck.
