Hello everyone. I'm assembling a PC for front-end development and need suggestions. Any thoughts on this setup? Also, I'm unsure which motherboard fits best. I'm aiming for a budget under $700. My current specs include the Ryzen 7 3700X, MSI B450 M Pro VDH Max Plus, Seagate Barracuda 1TB WD Green SSD, Corsair 3000Mhz RAM (8GBx2), Corsair Spec 05 case, and CX550 power supply. Looking forward to your feedback.
Ideal motherboard setup. Likely better to choose something similar like this instead. PCPartPicker provides a detailed list for storage and components. Storage options include Team L5 LITE 3D 480 GB SSD ($45.99 on Newegg) and Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB HDD ($49.99 on Newegg). Combined total comes to $95.98, covering shipping, taxes, and available discounts. Created by PCPartPicker on January 4, 2020 at 5:25 AM EST. You'll need a GPU for this configuration as well; AMD CPUs don't come with integrated GPUs unless marked with "G".
That processor doesn't include an integrated graphics unit. You'll likely need to consider an external graphics card if you're planning to use one.
