Hi, my customer's MSI Stealth 15m laptop lights up when they turn it on, but only shows a dragon logo. They cannot get into the BIOS or Windows either. I've tried booting from USB and tested every key combo online. I think the BIOS is messed up. Any ideas? Thanks!

Using a second SSD might let you skip that annoying startup screen from MSI. Maybe your old drive caused the issue. Before buying a new one, try swapping in an extra SSD or asking for repairs on your current unit instead.

Happy New Year! You might try taking out your laptop's storage to see if you can get into the BIOS settings. If the BIOS looks messed up, you could use a CH341A tool kit to fix the chip. Just remember: if it's still under warranty, don't open the inside and send it in for an RMA instead!

Hi, Try taking off the bottom cover and unplugging the battery. Hold down the power button a few times to drain the electricity. Plug in the charger, turn it on, and try to get inside the BIOS screen.

I can turn on my computer by taking out the SSD. If I put back the SSD, it makes my PC freeze when I see the Dragon logo. Removing the power and letting the batteries die doesn't help. Should I change the SSD? Thanks!

If using an extra SSD lets you skip that annoying splash screen on the MSI BIOS, maybe your old drive is to blame. Before buying a brand new one, try swapping in a donor SSD first, or better yet, ask someone else to RMA yours.
