I just played around and noticed they’re identical in price, planning to match it with the 7900XT.

What processor? The 13700K can handle a 12900K easily.

i5-12600k is less than i5-13400f, i7-12700k, and i9-12900k. For better performance in games, consider a 7600 instead.

I decided to join Intel since I needed a board that was 200 dollars less.

Are you near a microcenter? Their unique deals often offer the best value outside regular options.

I'm from the UK, so we don't have a micro center.

Which board and cost? I wouldn’t pay more than 200£ for any Z board. Avoid DDR5 unless you’re getting 6000C32 with future-proof Hynix dies (8000+ capability).

This section is likely to make you feel uncomfortable, but it’s the list of items I already purchased: case and SSD.

Looking for savings by changing the cooler and RAM? Avoid DDR5 unless it really adds value; a DDR4 setup can perform well with tuning. The Klevv board I picked should include a good Hyundai chipset, while pricier options aren’t worth it. I’ll mention that a 750W TXM is 20£ cheaper, but the 850W Supernova offers solid power.

The main reason I chose an AIO was its sleeker appearance compared to a heavy air cooler.
