I recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaCentre 5 AMD model and am planning to add some case fans. The setup will be in an open-front cabinet, which isn’t ideal for airflow. I’m aiming for a push-pull fan configuration since the case sits on its side and can easily vent from front to back. Based on the available space, I think 80mm fans would fit well, but I need confirmation on the pin type—whether they’re 3-pin or 4-pin, or specific to Lenovo. The motherboard’s CPUID indicates a Lenovo 3728 chipset and shows three empty fan headers. I’m struggling to decipher the small print and would appreciate any guidance or a chart for this model. Someone with experience on this series would be really helpful.

I don't have confirmation if the problem is fully solved yet, Adam. I'm facing the same situation now. What I found seems to be the optimal MoBo layout I could locate. It's possible I'm mistaken, but my system, which shares the same board as yours, appears to have only one additional fan header. I'm hoping to add another fan at the front. I was planning to purchase an 80mm Noctua and pray it works, especially since 3 or 4 pin connectors should be compatible. https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/des...202009.pdf
