No one else can offer a better alternative to this laptop at the same price with comparable features.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
To determine if what you're seeking is appropriate, we need you to answer some questions in this thread. Your response will assist the community in identifying the right laptop for your needs—considering budget, purpose, and availability.
We can proceed from there.
For gaming purposes, you might achieve better results with a model closer to 1000UKpounds.
If portability is your priority and you're not focused on gaming but on productivity, a lighter and more affordable option could work well.

Are you interested in the OLED display?
If yes, there really isn't much better.
Perhaps the Pro 14 is okay if you're comfortable with a 14" screen. It offers similar specifications but a 2.8k 90hz display and often the same price—just confirm it's the 3050 model, not just the Vega APU.
If your focus is gaming, look for something compatible with an RTX 3060. The most affordable option usually comes with the Nitro 5.

The display will appear much worse than an OLED version, though the RAM could still be a single channel, but it is at least upgradable to xP.
