Hello everyone, I'm currently using an outdated Wi-Fi stick that isn't working well anymore. Since I play competitive games often, I need a reliable connection. In these conditions, a quality Wi-Fi receiver would help me get the best performance. I tried a new Wi-Fi stick, but it didn’t improve things much. Perhaps a PCIe Wi-Fi card would suit my setup better. However, I lack experience with Wi-Fi cards and most comparisons pointed to other models. Could anyone suggest a good PCIe Wi-Fi card within a 40 euro budget?

TP-Link offers PCIe cards for Wireless AC wave 2 using WiFi 6. I’m currently using the TX3000E and am very satisfied. You can find it on Newegg here: https://www.newegg.com/tp-link-archer-tx...6833704507

I acquired this item a few months back and found it very satisfactory, priced at £39.99 which is near your range. TP-LINK Archer T5E AC1200 Wi-Fi Bluetooth 4.2 PCI Express Adapter

Even with its dated look and modest performance numbers, the item delivers unexpected results. It tends to be found at discounted prices, sometimes under $25.

One card supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, though the design might feel old‑school, but it still functions fine.

It's clearly mature enough now. Most of the beginners are gone, and there are plenty of options to explore, along with various drivers to test.

It was indeed straightforward, with Win 10 automatically detecting it and allowing use without driver updates. I still went ahead with an update.

Standard Windows installers function properly yet are perceived as sluggish by certain users. I learned that a driver developed by TP LINK itself tends to have many issues, whereas a driver specifically designed for the Broadcom chip operates without problems.
