I'm currently building a PC with an i7 9700k and trying to overclock the CPU above 4.9 without using too much power. I need something around AUD$150 or less, but I can use either AIO (water) or air cooling if needed. I don't want to buy the Noctua DH-15 because it's brown, which clashes with my black PC build. I'm checking if the dark rock pro 4 is worth buying when compared to other coolers like the ML240R at that price point.

I had to skip Cryorig's R1 Ultimate/Universal because it wasn't out or didn't get great reviews yet.

The Noctua NH-D15 comes in a black color as well, right? Just looking at online stuff, the Dark Rock Pro 4 seems quieter than the NH-D15 but the NH-D15 adds more cooling power to make up for it. I guess this might help too. Hope that helps!

- CRYORIG R1 Universal model has 76 CFM airflow and costs $119 at PCCaseGear.
- be quiet! Dark Rock TF comes with 67.8 CFM, uses fluid dynamic bearings, and is priced at $139 at PCCaseGear.
- Corsair H115i is a liquid CPU cooler with 104.65 CFM and costs $150 at Amazon Australia.
- Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH edition has just 43.03 CFM but still fits the bill at $138.26 from Amazon Australia.
- Deepcool Gammaxx L360 V2 liquid cooler offers 69.34 CFM and costs $147 at Skycomp Technology.
I did not finish my list, so there are some other options I missed.
