Looking for a fresh motherboard, processor, or graphics card to pair with Windows 11?
Hello All!
My father discovered this week that Windows 10 support ends in October. He plans to switch to Windows 11, but I found online information suggesting some of the components he currently uses might be unstable or very fragile. At the moment, he has an old Biostar b75mu3+ motherboard with an Intel G630 CPU and a GTX 760 graphics card. Everything is more than ten years old, so he’s looking for new parts to ensure longevity while running Windows 11 efficiently. Mostly he uses his PC for browsing, streaming on a projector or TV, doing some PDF work, office tasks, and occasionally encoding old movies for Blu-ray playback—rarely. He needs something capable of handling all these activities smoothly and quickly, especially for encoding when he goes to sleep so it doesn’t matter as much. Ideally, it should offer good value for money without breaking the bank. Obviously, he doesn’t want to spend a lot on just three items (he probably doesn’t need them for his current usage).
Thank you!
LordPM.
