You're looking for challenging games on Steam that fit your system without breaking the bank. Since you mostly bought games to run on older hardware, consider titles that are well-supported by updates and have solid performance even on lower specs. Focus on FPS or strategy genres where demand is higher. Check reviews for recent updates and community feedback to narrow down good options.

I haven’t found any free-to-play titles that handle such high payouts.

Planetside 2 is massive, packed with thousands of players on one map, and the visuals are decent. It's been a while since I played, so I'm unsure if it's still active.

World of Warcraft appears to be a free-to-play experience. It's clear what they're aiming for. For more intense content, Warframe is the way to go.

I own planetside 2, yet it relies heavily on CPU processing and lacks visual appeal and enjoyment.
