Hello everyone, I'm based in Canada and using a Shaw BlueCurve plan with the built-in modem/router. My internet experience is uneven—browsing feels slow and games are laggy when many people use the network at once. The connection is fast near the router (600 Mbps), but drops to around 15Mbps in my office when using a smartphone. The provider placed the cable directly on the wall, which made positioning the router tricky. I plan to move it toward the center of the house. I’m also considering getting a dedicated router to fix the issue. I’ve attached a quick sketch of my home. I’m working within a budget, aiming for under CAD 150, but might go up to CAD 200 if needed. Here are my current thoughts: #1 - Tp-Link AC2600 (Archer A10) - Amazon link #2 - Netgear R6400-100CNS (AC1750) - Amazon link
