It's interesting how dual 8 pin PSUs only support 375W. Is this a universal limitation for all PSUs? I experienced an issue with my 3070 where it was overvolted and at 113% power, but after removing the problem, shutdowns stopped. Still believe upgrading to a new PSU would be wise for future-proofing. It seems transient spikes might have been the cause, as suggested by gamers nexus—potentially up to 2.5 times the reported wattage. My seasonic could have tried drawing 800W.
Thank you for the suggestion. If I'm fortunate, I might be able to secure it at a lower cost. Should an additional £20 be necessary to obtain something significantly improved in quality, then it seems worthwhile from my perspective.
