Hi everyone,
I opened a new topic about a 2in1 device around $300.
It seems challenging at that price point.
After some thorough research, I identified one variable that impacts the rest – 💲
Even without considering costs, I couldn’t locate what I needed.
Here are my requirements:
Brand: Any (including affordable Chinese options)
2in1
Delivered in Europe
CPU: x86-64
Minimum: 2 cores (Threads: 4)
Monitor: ≥14 inches
IPS
MAT
Storage: SSD M.2 NVME
Size: any
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
I’m starting to feel overwhelmed...

We require additional details about the form factor. Some models now produce monitors where a small computer fits snugly in the monitor arm. Does this align with your expectations? Or are you seeking a robust tablet, such as a Microsoft Surface?

I'm searching for a device that supports connecting a wired keyboard, or preferably a 2-in-1 laptop similar to the Lenovo Yoga.

There aren't many options available online. A lot of tablets and convertible laptops exist, but their sizes are somewhat restrictive for your needs as they usually range from 12 to 13 inches. You might find better results by checking other retailers near you. It's unclear whether you require a Windows setup or if an iPad or Android device would suffice, such as a Chromebook. Most devices should come with a solid-state drive, so you don't need to stick to an M.2 NVMe option; any type will perform adequately.

I noticed something confusing. Yes, you do have more autonomy, but for eye comfort it isn't ideal. I only need an x86-64 CPU and don't want an Apple or Chromebook. I plan to install Linux on it.

Thank you for the link.
I came across this product: ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 TP470EA-AS34T.
Of course, it's unclear whether it uses IPS or TN panels—though I might look elsewhere... buying a laptop is really a hassle.
The worst part for me was the ~23% import tax.

Perhaps it's better to examine the top models that are already in use rather than the latest ones.

Also observe that these 'flipable' devices weigh less than most laptops yet feel bulky compared to genuine tablets.
I owned a Yoga 710 that I only used occasionally in tablet form mainly because it was somewhat cumbersome.
