Hello from Sweden! I’m having trouble setting up a wired Ethernet connection at my temporary place. I have an unlimited data plan on my mobile and an extra SIM card I can use. My phone’s speed tests show about 80 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload, which isn’t the main problem. The real issue is playing games—without a router, I’m thinking about buying one. The biggest concern is reducing latency. On my phone I see around 30ms ping and 6ms jitter. Do you think adding a router would help lower the jitter? I don’t use Wi-Fi, so I prefer Ethernet. I won’t share the connection and I don’t want to spend $500 on a router. My budget is probably between $100 and $130. I found the TP-Link Archer MR200, which supports LTE category 4, but I read that the antennas inside are for LTE/4G/3G and not Wi-Fi. The Huawei B525-23a model has no details available, and I have no experience with Huawei devices. Any advice? I checked forums and most people mention that external antennas are needed for the Archer MR200. Asus 4G routers seem overpriced and many reviews warn about poor performance. I’m still trying to figure out a good option and need some guidance. Thanks, this is really confusing. All the information seems hard to find.

Looking for the Huawei B618s-22d at a good rate? I got it for 180€. It’s a solid upgrade compared to my old Huawei E5186s-22a, which is pretty much similar to the B525.

I’ll remember that. I plan to finalize the purchase in about a month, maybe I’ll discover something better. Right now they’re three times my budget for a router, haha. Would love some more advice! It seems a bit confusing too. The link from Archer Mr200 on TP Link’s homepage mentions internal 4G antennas. Other sources suggest an external model like the ASUS 4G-AC53U, but I haven’t found any reviews for that one. Edit: I went with the ASUS AC53U. It performs very well and is stable. Compared to my Galaxy A8, the jitter is about three times lower ^^
