I checked various options for purchasing the Path of Exile 2 Steam key. Many listings offer prices between $14 and $28. I noticed the winter sale starts on December 18, but I’m unsure if discounts apply to this version. The spring sale didn’t provide any savings. I’m looking for a trustworthy source to avoid spending over $28 on the official site. Would you recommend another reliable platform for buying this game? I’d appreciate it if you could confirm which site is dependable from your list.

Sure, you could wait a couple more days to check for any discounts on Steam. Just remember, we can't discuss or endorse unofficial sites in this forum.

I don’t believe PoE will be available on sale soon through Steam based on price trends on SteamDB. However, those popular platforms are quite unreliable and might mislead you. You could end up paying for a $14 key that doesn’t function, forcing you to retry and essentially paying the full amount. It’s better to wait for a genuine purchase.

Purchasing from unreliable platforms often harms developers the most. If you like the game, buy it yourself or support quality titles, or let great games vanish forever.

Green Man Gaming is dependable, though PoE2 isn't included. In fact, I’d pay the extra $30—it’s definitely worthwhile.

I don't want to waste 28 dollars on an early game access because soon it will be free like Poe 1. That's why I'm looking for a discounted rate. I believe 14 dollars is a reasonable price for an early game access in my view. Yes, I know at this price I have 300 coins, but for me it feels low since you'll need more coins to buy stuff like stash and other items.

The asking price is for the developer/publisher to decide. If you don't agree with their choice, your only legal option is to not buy at that price. Either wait for a sale or wait for the game to go F2P

The Steam Winter Sale arrives soon on December 18th, but I’m certain Poe 2 won’t offer any discounts. I’ll hold off until then, though it seems unlikely. https://steamdb.info/sales/history/

Existing stash tabs from PoE will transfer to PoE2. It seems this version might be in early access, yet the value feels quite reasonable given its current features.

Others have mentioned that PoE2 will become available once 1.0 is released. (0.4.0 just came out on Friday). So... probably mid to late 2027 1.0 will be launched? PoE1 remains accessible and is completely free if you're on a budget now. But in the ARPG world... nothing compares to the Path of Exile experience. (1 and 2 are alike yet very different) Worth every penny.
