Very affordable option. No need for advanced features since I’m not using Wi-Fi. If I stick with the setup they provided by my ISP, it should cost around 300 dollars and they said any solution would work. My current speed is 500 Mbps, so 1 Gbps would be ideal if I want to upgrade later, but for now 500 Mbps is sufficient. Thanks!

Would you prefer one modem or a mesh network configuration?

They handed me two boxes. One had the fiber cable with an Ethernet cable and AC power, while the other contained three Ethernet ports, an AC power port, and a USB port. The Ethernet port labeled for internet connected to the modem for internet access. I think a combined setup would work best.

The initial container in the ONT isn't swapping it unless they provide a matching transceiver and all other details (like credentials) needed to connect to the network. Swapping the ONT will likely increase expenses rather than simply offering a standard router that connects via Ethernet from the first unit.

It makes sense. You just need a router. I understand. Thanks.
