EXPO is now active on your PC but runs slower than before. Some users notice performance drops after enabling it. Could you share possible reasons and a simple fix?

DDR5 is here. Turn on Memory Context Restore to reduce training. Check the latest BIOS updates for guidance.

Join AMD systems using DDR5. Refreshing the BIOS on the motherboard may cut down startup times. Turning on Memory Context Restore can lower memory setup and boot durations, though it might lead to issues.

Higher frequency means greater instability. DDR5 memories undergo a memory calibration session after POST to adjust voltages and other parameters. When your motherboard feels ready for retraining, the POST process will pause. EXPO increases how often this training occurs. You can disable it in UEFI settings, though I advise against it. Gradually you might notice BSODs on Windows or application crashes.
