For the last couple of weeks my ping has increased from a consistent 60, to 90 with constant spikes of 300. This isnt just happening on a specific server, its anything I connect to. I've tried the classic off n on/factory reset on my modem about a million times before anyone suggests that. I noticed the problem on my PC, which is connected with Ethernet, but even when I disconnect everything and run speed tests from my phone, there's no improvement. We've very recently gotten this modem and it worked incredibly better than our last one for the first few weeks we used it, apart from some issues due to it being 4G.

It's 4G, and likely you won't have many options except for a strong ISP.

When using only 4G, improving latency is very limited—it feels similar to satellite connections. I typically experience around 50-60ms on my device.

It operates exactly as designed. Expect alternating periods of success and challenges.
